Ifasina is southern born and raised Bay Area transplant. They came to organizing work as a 24-year old in the deep south around issues impacting LGBTQIA folks of color. After spending some time studying sociology, gaining spiritual and wellness development skills both personally and as a wellness practitioner, they began integrating those skills and experience with their organizing and advocacy work.

Ifasina has been with YWFC since 2016 working mostly in the areas of healing, spirituality, and leadership development. Ifasina now serves as Deputy Director with an emphasis on impacting both the employee experience and the programmatic trajectory around wellness and sustainable practices for liberatory work and movement.
