YWFC is gathering over twenty-seven years of workshop agendas, tools, manuals and materials and developing standardized curriculum and a training of trainers for all programs.

Throughout our history, we have been committed to using popular education towards developing the critical consciousness of members and staff in order to analyze the conditions that have shaped our experiences and therefore the changes needed to free us. We believe in the inherent brilliance and transferable skills developed to survive and navigate these conditions. YWFC brings additional skills and new ways of using that brilliance toward the lives we want and in service of wellness, happiness, economic sustainability, justice and liberation.

Curriculum Development:

Freedom Academies:

Staff Development:

YWFC is always evolving its leadership pipeline for staff, the great majority of whom are formerly incarcerated and systems impacted, particularly program staff.
