Marisol is a Mexican born, San Francisco “native,” writer, dancer, climber, hiker, flow-art spinner, and improving communicator. A bilingual educator and artist, Marisol is committed to social justice and permaculture in community with marginalized populations. For more than 10 years, she has been passionately involved with the Mosaic Project, a 20-year-old non-profit organization dedicated to creating a just and peaceful world through connection across differences. She has experience piloting programs, developing and, facilitating curriculum with a flair for experiential education for various age groups in settings ranging from boardroom, classroom, to wilderness. Her extensive non-profit work with organizations that foster community and civic stewardship has allowed her to engage in dynamic conversations about leadership through empathy and empowerment. Her commitment to self-reflection and healing brings her and her K9 companions to visit nature and waterside often in the native Ohlone, Muwekma, Chochenyo territories of the San Francisco Bay Area.
