Luna is a community space-holder, organizer, advocate, writer and healer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She has fought for personal and collective transformation for more than a decade via a variety of political projects which center prison abolition, trans liberation, community empowerment, collective healing, and the struggle against white supremacy.  In recent years, Luna has served as a program coordinator for TransLife, a social support project of the SF AIDS Foundation and Girlfriends Connect, a project of the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health for trans women being released from San Francisco County Jail.  She has also been consultant a number of city departments and organizations looking to better serve the trans community in the greater SF Bay Area. She has been with YWFC since August 2019.
