For 25 years, The Young Women’s Freedom Center (YWFC) has been investing in the leadership of formerly incarcerated and system involved young women in the state of California to transform their lives and communities. YWFC provides leadership, economic, and transformative opportunities for young women and works with them overtime to find their voice and build personal and collective power to transform the policies and systems that criminalize poor young women of color through advocacy, organizing, systems change, and policy work.
Position Title: Program Manager
Program: Youth Detention/Reentry
Work location: San Francisco with some travel to surrounding counties
Classification: Full-time (1 FTE), permanent, Exempt
Reports to: Program Director Youth Detention & Reentry
The Program Manager for Youth Detention & Reentry is responsible for guiding Detention Programs in reaching their programmatic goals by supporting incarcerated women and girls with systems navigation. This position is responsible for ensuring that program plans and activities are in line with the organization's mission, vision, values and fulfill annual goals. The Program Manager is a part of the San Francisco team and works closely with other Program Managers, Self-Determination Coaches, and the Program Director to represent the organization on a local and national level.
This is a Full-time, permanent position
Salary/ Benefits: $52,000 to $58,000 + health benefits (based on experience)
